Analysis of Drainage System for Overcoming Floods on Untung Jawa Island, South Thousand Islands District, DKI Jakarta

In general, drainage can be used to reduce excess water, whether from rainwater, seepage, or irrigation water an area, so that the function of area is not disturbed. This study aims analyze and examine problems exist on Untung Jawa Island, South Seribu Islands District, DKI Jakarta, channels are poorly maintained frequent flooding. The data in this primary secondary data, planning calculation flood discharge a 2-year return period used. For discharge, plan uses rational method added household results will compared with existing condition channel Thousand Jakarta. obtained largest design 3.277 m3/second A8 smallest 0.094 C5. for channel, there 11 fall into unsafe category because capacity less than planned namely A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, A8, A10, B2, B3 B4. Infiltration wells accommodate it takes 19 infiltration B4, 13 pieces B3, 9 6 A6 4 A7 , 2 1 piece A4 A5.
